gamut inc is an interdisciplinary group founded in Berlin by Marion Wörle (musician, composer and graphic designer) and Maciej Sledziecki (composer and guitarist), that is dedicated to creating and organising works and events around electroacoustic music and innovative musical theatre, with a special focus on automated pipe organs. Their latest album, Sum to Infinity, was released by Morphine Records in March 2023, including new works for their music machines and synthesisers. In this seminar, gamut inc will present their overview of the evolution of automation and machines in music production and their work with pipe organs.
