The present, the here and now, when sipping and enjoying the essence of the cup of tea. But, contrary to expectations, there is no peace. And the utopian calm of drinking tea contrasts with the anxious situations and unforeseen events that arise from it - the water that never heats up, the tea that is never ready and the friend who never arrives. Tea at Five is a circus performance that reflects on the relativity of time, waiting and the ephemeral, which can lead to extreme, ridiculous, animalistic and surreal situations. An invitation to the audience to be inspired by simple elements and enjoy the elementary things in everyday life.
