Created in 2008,EME is constituted by students and teachers of the Electronic Music and Music Production course of the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas, of the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco (ESART-IPCB), emerging as a space of creation and experimentation of new languages, aesthetics and technologies for collective musical creation with electronic and electroacoustic means. BUILD-UP brings together a heterogeneous set of approaches and resources, in an individual and collective construction of the idea of exploring compositional and improvisational musical language, and the format of the performance space as a dynamic and flexible space for musical expression.
