Femme Falafel is Raquel Pimpão, who was born in Lisbon, and has adopted Caldas da Rainha as her home town. She is passionate about disco, hip-hop, salsa and pastéis de nata (custard tarts). She uses the piano, vocals and logic to extract the profoundest bitterness from beneath the glaciers of conscience. She makes emotions rhyme to make them seem more legitimate and serves them on a plate seasoned with sarcasm and coriander so they can't be seen with the naked eye. She thinks she's a classy trickster. Her artistic goal is to praise silliness. After all, fatality is not her strong point. In this adventure she is accompanied by Francisco Santos on drums and Tiago Martins on bass.
