ENSEMBLE DECADENTE is a mutant organism that can be a collective with 15 members as well as a ‘simple’ quintet or sextet. Their aesthetic existentialism joins improv music with a certain knack for performance and theatricality, with some provocation and a deliberate perfectionist indifference. Their work embodies unique and unrepeatable moments, as if each of their live performances were a manifest of singularity, a shameless scream of individual affirmation.
