The Heliocentrics, a band for which genres are meaningless and boundaries invisible, have since long stirred a bewitching brew of funk, jazz, psych and library influences, having collaborated with influential artists such as Ethiopian music legend Mulatu Astatke, and The Gaslamp Killer.

Since its conception, the band’s music has mainly been created intuitively and impulsively from live improvisation, stemming from a desire to avoid the typical processes or generic structures, giving the band their own sound and identity.
