Serralves em Festa is back!

This vast programme includes proposals which foster interaction between the visual arts and the performing arts, in close articulation with Serralves’ remarkable landscape and architectural heritage, and in line with the regular activity of the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Casa de Cinema Manoel de Oliveira and Serralves Park, which this year is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

With hundreds of activities and artists from Portugal and from different parts of the world, there will be Music, Dance, Performance, Contemporary Circus, Theatre, Cinema, Photography and several educational activities, during 50 hours, in what is Portugal’s biggest contemporary arts festival and one of the largest in Europe.

Once again a diversified set of partners is involved in this edition, including municipal councils from all over the country as well as artistic institutions.

There are also exhibitions such as "Allora & Calzadilla - Entelechy", "Carla Filipe - In My Own Language I Am Independente", "To Whom It May Concern - A Collection, A Letter", "Ryoji Ikeda - Micro | Macro [Pavilion]", "Contemporary Projects: António Júlio Duarte - Febre", "Manoel de Oliveira and Portuguese Cinema – For the Good of the Nation (1929-1969)" and "The Art of Mushrooms".
