Inspired by Daft Punk's "Touch", Approach 18 is a spectacular small-scale dance performance featuring Olivier Mathieu, accompanied by the ghostly voice of Paul Williams. Exploring the border between the living and the artificial, the show is based on a disarticulated corporality that is the origin of a hybrid creature, floating between two realities, questioning our transhumanist race.
Approach 18 is part of the singular research of the French artist Yoann Bourgeois, developed around a creative process that he calls "The Unreachable suspension point".
