Fungi have become a metaphor for our times. Artists from various nationalities present work in very diverse media - painting, photography, collage, sculpture, design, sound, digital media or textiles - and confirm the huge level of interest that currently exists in the humble mushroom.

Their work is simultaneously poetic, psychedelic, political, colourful, creative and informative. Mushrooms are today being used to present new models of contemporary art, politics, technology, economics and design.

This exhibition addresses two questions that seek to connect art and science: why are artists and designers attracted to mushrooms and mycelium? Why are fungi so important for humanity?
